Hey! I’m Drew Cochran, the creator of The Epic of Dreams RPG.
Feel free to call me Drewcifer!
Since birth, I’ve been obsessed with dragons, mythology, storytelling, and the mysteries of life.
Somewhere in my wandering, I fell in love with the roleplaying game hobby, but felt that the games I saw being played fell short of what this medium could offer – a chance to truly explore invisible imagined worlds, testing ones’ mettle against the monsters and gods of yore.
After 10 years of research and testing, and two successful Kickstarters, we’re finally about to release The Epic of Dreams to the public!
I love running high-drama, high-stakes sagas, and I’ve worked for over a decade distilling my style to ensure every session my players join is one they will never forget.
I don’t just run my own system, but have come to thrive on many of the mainstays of the “Old School Renaissance” tradition – if there’s one you’re itching to play, send me a message! I probably have the game and am ready to run almost anything.
My favorite part of the entire roleplay experience is bridging the gap between the invisible world of the saga at hand, and helping players discover themselves within that reality, taking them and their characters on a journey that leads them to the bleeding edge, as they become living legends.
I illustrate and design all the character sheets by hand, doling out custom freebies to my players for use in our games.

I utilize primarily Discord and Canva at this time for games, as we run wild in the theatre of the mind.

Every time I play Epic of Dreams with Drew as the game master I feel I’m immersed into the newly birthed universe almost seamlessly. There is never a dull moment and the rule set is so expanded that it seems like every kind of action and every possible outcome can become a reality. You’re given the quest but the accomplshment is totally based on you. I love that.
Have played several times with Drew and he has always been great at introducing me to concepts and painting an illustration with his words for me to settle into which is really helpful for a new player like me!! Very entertaining as well with some great comedy timing tied into the stories which i strongly enjoy. Would highly recommend !!!! Can’t wait until our next session!
Drew has helped create some of the most memorable and immersive play experiences of mine. Whether it was while playing Epic of Dreams, or even just in free form posts, there are scenes and spaces the Drew has woven together that I can still visualize to this day. I always look forward to the next opportunity for me to play in one of his sagas.
