Curse of Strahd: Re “VAMPED”

Hey There! Thanks for Stopping by…
My name is Madelyn, gamer name Panthea (we all have one). Panthea was my very first D&D character and it kind of stuck with me through the years. I remember sitting down thinking of the endless possibilities of who this character would be and how she would immerse herself in the game. I learned a lot from her the game itself but also mistakes I made along the way with character build and even down to RPing this character at the table. I remember what it was like to be a new player, and thankfully had a supportive group of friends to guide me through so I could really enjoy the game. Now several years later, I enjoy working with new players teaching them how to play the game that truly in many ways saved my life.
My Background Story…Â
I’m a second generation Dungeon Master. My dad was the first one to introduce me to the world of D&D starting with AD&D 2e and 3.5 edition. I remember before we played we hopped over to our local store bought our lead miniatures and a hoard of books went home primed and painted them. By next morning paint still in our finger nails we left my humble dining table and explored a forest filled with goblins. It was one of my fondest memories. After awhile I moved around rarely had time to spare until D&D 5e came on the scene. I was hooked again. However, it’s hard to find a group of dedicated people to play so I found the wonderful community online and continued exploring. Now several years of GMing and playing lead me here.
I used D&D as a creative outlet. Also a break from some of the hardest realities of life. Through having these pockets time in the week where I could take a break and get out of the harsh realities of life, it made it more manageable. This game is truly meaningful to me. Aside from the game I’m a mom of a beautiful little girl and have a family and profession. I also own a few 3d printers have a little workshop in my garage. I love to paint you check my work out over on my instagram.
Adventure with me…
I am new player friendly. I have a lot of experience running workshops for character creation and how to use Roll20. I’ll guide you through the details and I am happy to help you outside of session when you feel stuck. I like to have a well rounded game of roleplay, combat and exploration. If you are new don’t worry I know it can sound daunting to roleplay, but I am here to guide you. It’s ok if you don’t have an accent for your character or don’t know how to act out a scene, it’ll come to you eventually and your style of play you’ll come into as you play more and more.

I hope to see you on our next adventure!

Panthea has done a great job DMing for our campaign! It had been a long time since I’d played an online RPG and she took the time to help me set everything up and answer all my questions. Our sessions are always a lot of fun and keep me invested in the characters and the story. She has a discord server where players can become more engaged if they want, and share their art projects or build their characters.
Panthea DM’d Curse of Strahd for me, my fiancé and a couple of other people we didn’t know. She provided a great experience, especially since some of us were newer players. It was easy and comfortable to ask questions about making a character, things I wanted to tie into my character, and how to play a TTRPG overall. We even asked to continue after Curse of Strahd!
I enjoyed playing with Panthea, I’m new to RPG, she made the story come to life and it was easy to understand and play. I would definitely recommend newbies and experienced gamers to play with her.
The death house was my favorite experience in the game.
