I have played and DM Dungeon & Dragons since the mid 80’s. I’ve played 5e for awhile and it takes a special DM (GM) to bring a story to life. Anne is that type of DM (GM). She brings such a passion to the game that there is no possible way that you can leave a session disappointed or unhappy. I recommend that if you are new to the game or are a seasoned player, if you get a chance to sit at Anne’s table do so. You won’t regret it.

Anne is an amazing GM, and anyone interested in one of her campaigns should sign up!

1. Anne has been amazing at guiding me through my first ever campaign. Anne creates a safe space for learning the mechanics of dnd, as well as the tools she uses to run her games.

2. World building! There are so many NPCs with robust backgrounds who are part of our journey. It feels like we are part of a community in the world Anne has built.

3. Personalization feels great! Our personal stories have become completely intertwined with the overall campaign. Anne takes time to work with us each week to ensure our personal stories are being told. Want a big shiny magical (and maybe a little bit evil) axe for your gnome barbarian? Of course you do! Anne will make sure to work it into the story seamlessly.

4. Anne is a professional. Working through schedules and technology might not be as exciting as our campaign, but Anne makes it so easy. We always start and end on time, and when we’ve needed to adjust schedules Anne has been on top of it several weeks in advance to ensure we dont skip a beat.

I don’t think I could have found a better GM for my first campaign and I hope to see y’all at Anne’s table in a future campaign!

Anne is a great DM, and I am having a blast in this game. Why, well, because. . .

1. She’s a great world-builder. I got caught up in the world she created for us basically from session one. And she imbues every non-player character with tons of personality.

2. The storylines she creates are always engaging, interesting and fun.

3. She is very patient, especially for new players. When one of us doesn’t quite know what to do or how to get to something, she cheerfully helps out.

4. She’s great at combat sequences. She keeps things moving and always presents interesting challenges for the team.

5. She is equally adept at role playing and helping you more fully realize your character.

6. She seems completely unfazed when we throw her curveballs and do something she may not expect; I assume that just comes from her experience and knowledge.

7. While Anne respects the rules, if a player has an interesting idea or wants to try something unusual or outside the box, she rewards a good idea with at least a possibility of success, which makes things a lot more fun.

Anne is a great storyteller and is awesome as a DM. She’s equally passionate about the game, the experience, and the players which makes for a well-rounded and fun experience. I’d highly recommend Anne for both new and experienced players alike!

I am brand new to the D&D world and didn’t know a single thing before Anne helped me delve into the game! She was so considerate and patient while teaching me the rules of the game and allowed me to go at a pace I was comfortable with while also being super personable and energetic to make me feel excited playing a game I wasn’t familiar with. Her storytelling, acting and descriptions are really amazing and makes myself and fellow players get more excited about our game!

I would recommend her to anyone – brand new to the D&D world or someone who’s had years of experience. I can’t wait to play with her again!

I haven’t played D&D with Anne for a few years, but she is the best DM I’ve encountered personally especially when it comes to a strong story driven narrative, fun and flavorful improv, and having genuine fun at the table. The campaign I played with Anne was an original story set in an original world. It started as an in person campaign that evolved to online during quarantine, but despite the challenges presented in that transition she managed to keep the campaign alive and was very straightforward and efficient at leading communication for scheduling.

If I haven’t convinced you yet that Anne is a fantastic DM, let me leave you with this. She knows how to handle a party of any size(ours had 6 or 7 people), she is very proficient at the general rules, she’s creative and good at story telling. Even if I were to ignore all those qualities, I would still recommend Anne as a very kind, thoughtful, and incredibly inclusive Dungeon Master. Seriously man, she’s great.
