About the Adventure

About the Adventure

“There is a black pit in Moria, just beyond the First Hall. It has no
bottom, and is spanned only by a single narrow bridge. There is no
other way into the city save that bridge.”

The Dwarven Stronghold of Moria was lost many years ago. But after the Battle of Five Armies, Balin returned to the retake Dwarfhome. Reports of Balin’s progress have been coming through at regular intervals, but they recently stopped. So you’ve agreed to join a scouting band. Find the entrance, and make your way to Durin’s Bridge and the Five Halls. Re-establish connection with Balin and lend your support and the support of the nations you represent.

How to Prepare

The GM (Lorekeeper) will provide pregenerated characters for you to use. Altternatively, they will provide guidance on creating characters if that is your preference.

You’ll want to make sure you have a working mic/webcam as well as create an account at PlayRole.com. Dice can be rolled digitally, but you can gather two 12-sided dice and six 6-sided dice if you’d like to roll physical dice.

Materials Provided

The GM (Lorekeeper) will provide characters for you to use as well as all the rules you need to be able to play.

EJ does a great job of building an exciting and engaging atmosphere whether it’s D&D, Cthulhu, or CyberPunk. Which is why I keep coming back, can’t recommend his games enough.

I’ve played a number of games with EJ as DM, now. Every game is always interesting, unique, full of intrigue, humor, action, surprise, sometimes even sadness. He is an excellent DM, he is flexible in his storytelling, and you’d do well to have him run games for you.
