About the Adventure

“While the city slumbers you slink through narrow alleys avoiding the city watch as they are rather strict on curfew and questions would be unwanted.  Just a simple letter is all you have, ‘kindly meet just after 1 bell to discuss a matter of delicate importance to… the wolf pack.  You will be compensated well beyond your normal rate, but this mission does come with a fair amount of risk. All will be revealed and should you decline at least you’ll leave the meeting with a full belly.  Drinks and food are one me. -B. Crow’. As you slink in the back door to the Golden Peak Brewhaus, at this late hour only the dregs are asleep on the floor near a roaring fire.  A couple of quick turns and you part a curtain to a private meeting room near the back of the tavern.  A single candle lights the heavy oaken table and just at the edge of the light other figures.  As you enter all of you stare at each other and begin to realize that each of you is a skilled operator in methods… outside the bounds of the law.  Normally, you work alone, but something must have pulled this level of skill together, so perhaps this job is bigger than you thought.

‘Hello, and thank you for your prompt arrival.  Call me Byron and it is a pleasure.’, and older gentleman in spectacles enters the room with a tray of libations.  He sets them down… ‘my new friends we have been given the blessing of the godfather of the Wolf Pack.’  Bryon Crow’s words fade away as each of you steps closer to the table to see an unfurled map of the target… “

SMALL PROBLEMS

(a Small-Shot adventure)

Your group has just been tasked with sneaking into the hallowed halls of the Lady of the Spire, a commanding cathedral in High Hold.  For locked within a vault of antiquity are precious relics that the church doesn’t want to share, even with the royal family of the Sol Spire.  Rare intel that has cost your thieves’ guild The Wolf Pack dearly, but it’s finally time to collect.

However, the arch-bishops of the Lady of the Spire have not made their home hospitable for those with “light fingers”.  Your team is going to need to dip outside normal rogue members in order to overcome much of the protective magics surrounding this treasure.

Byron Crow has been cultivating this heist for months, finally approved by the Godfather of the Wolf Pack. He has pulled in this elite team that you are a part of… the risks are great, but so is the reward.  A meteorite from the moon goddess herself; witnesses attest to an orb of precious metal and marble bringing a knight back from the dead.  It also seemed to allow one to speak to ancestors long gone.  This rough shard of Sol’isis allows the wielder to perhaps even step between the worlds of the living and the dead!

It’s the night before the heist… a last moments preparation before testing the church’s defenses.  Good luck…

——-

What to Expect: this is a longer than a one-shot, but shorter than an adventure… it’s a Small-Shot (phrase coined by me—I’m trademarking it!).  This will take a group of elite adventurers through a very harrowing heist of an artifact of unknown significance, through the fencing of that item… and the divvying up of treasure; that always happens without incident. (cough)

What to Bring: Your characters should be stealthy, skilled operatives with somewhat sliding morals, but can be of any class and background.  Byron Crow has vetted you over the past few months and while you don’t know each other, this is by design.  Your characters should be 8th level with one uncommon and one rare magic item.  Leave one attunement slot open as the guild has a specialized item to give each of you for this mission.

Age Range:  Despite the nefarious bend of this mission, this is a teenage friendly adventure, designed with numerous skill checks, puzzles and “small” combat sections that will in some cases be harrowing and hilarious.

Oh, you might want to also pack an escape route…

Fantastic DM

April 3, 2026

Nate, is an incredible and versatile DM. He helps guide newer players with care and gives them the tools without being condescending. My group has had epic encounters, plot twists, memorable NPCs, amazing storylines, but most of all, all our characters were built up, through side quests or random encounters, making all players feel like a family. Cannot rate Nate high enough. 99/10 rating.

Exceeded expectations

I am a very socially anxious person. When my friend and I were at a loose end when our friend group dissolved due to kids, work, blah blah blah, we took a look at RPG Club and decided to give it a try. Hollywood DM created a safe, inviting and cool place to be. Wonderful world building together with characters that you really want to love or hate, Noctis delivered every time and that’s all down to Nate. I would and have recommended him to other friends that are looking to play more.

An excellent DM for beginners and experts alike

Nate is an excellent DM who not only makes a great game for players but also creates room for others to build their DM skills. The story he greats are immense with twists and surprises. I have enjoyed working with him on the Noctis campaign. He made a stranger feel welcome and helped us have a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of playing in a Cyberpunk Red game run by HollywoodDM (Nat), and it was an outstanding experience! HollywoodDM made the entire process incredibly smooth and enjoyable.

From the start, he created an immersive and engaging story that drew us all in. His vivid descriptions and dynamic storytelling brought the cyberpunk world to life, making it easy for us to get lost in the narrative. He was also incredibly patient and helpful, taking the time to explain the rules and mechanics in a way that was easy to understand.

What truly stood out was his ability to guide us through our first experience with the system. He provided us with a plethora of ideas and options for what our characters could do, ensuring that we felt empowered and excited to explore the game. His enthusiasm and dedication to making sure we had a great time were evident throughout the session.

Overall, GM Nat is an exceptional game master who excels at creating a beginner-friendly and immersive experience. If you're new to Cyberpunk Red or just looking for a fantastic game master, I highly recommend playing in one of his games!

HollywoodDM is an incredible DM and very well experienced to anticipate my groups actions, and work with them on the fly. This oneshot was very fun and I highly recommend anyone reading this review to give him a shot. I know that I don't regret playing in his oneshot, and I know that you sure won't! And to my DM, masterfully done, masterfully played, 10 out of 10 would play again.

I've played every permutation of D&D since 1984, and what makes every game enjoyable is a GM focused on story and character. Nate has a wide arsenal of voices and differentiated NPC motivations and in-depth back-story, which combine to make his world-building feel full and truly "alive." During game sessions, his descriptions are rich, and his pace of play is neither hindered by excessive role-play, nor Spartan/without flair combat (specifically, he doesn't pull punches in fights, which I appreciate and prefer). I've also found that even small clues and seemingly incidental details present themselves in all NPC interactions, many of which lead to entire other adventures, or even campaigns. He really does balance his non-combat/combat sections well, and while I'm not privy to other groups that he runs, my group of veteran players are thoroughly addicted. I highly recommend you hire him for your campaign, or one-shot (just don't take my time slot)!
