Description:
Heroes investigating a number of missing children and mysterious murders in the Baroney of Lornedaine uncover the culprits. The Cult of the Burning One, a diabolical new power based out of the port city of Freegate. A new evil has set foot on the continent and is threatening an invasion from the plane of molten skies. The heroes must confront the cult in their flaming tower before the evil spreads further into the mainland.
Joining the game:
New players will receive detailed character build instructions and level up to the current party level. A private session zero will occur via discord to align and introduce myself and the game where we can cover safety tools and explore your character ideas together.
Are you a good fit for this game style and tone:
This game is PG13 with some dark undertones, adult language and violence. It balances combat, roleplay and exploration. The group is comprised of new and veteran 5e players spanning ages of early 20’s to 40+. We learn together, explore together and build each other up. My goal is to allow opportunities for real friendships to develop at the table while you save the world. We make room for character backgrounds and RP, often times allowing space for plucky heroic buddy-comedy and also dramatic & serious character story elements to come to the surface. The adventurers are clearly the heroes and there are ways to solve problems both with and without violence. We have a strict no-conflict player policy. No stealing and no PVP.
Technical Details:
We meet on Discord and the game is run on Roll20. You will need a free Roll20 account. I have used the platform since 2012 and have expert knowledge of how to teach you the basics if you are new. Joining my Roll20 game gives you complete access to all D&D books and character sheets. Note: Players are free to use their own D&D Beyond with a Chrome plugin instead of using a Roll20 Character sheet.
I also provide detailed NPC art, battle maps, magic item handouts, private discord server, cinematic music and 1:1 access between sessions to work on your game experience together.

Chris is awesome. I am about 10 sessions into City of Brass with him and loving it. I previously played an epic two-year long campaign and a short 10-week campaign with him as DM. He is a great actor and role-player, brings life to characters and really works to incorporate your character backstory into the major story elements. He has a good balance of combat and non-combat and he has a thorough understanding of the game and the mechanics.

After several outings with Chris as my DM I can confidently say that he is one of the best I have ever been at a table with. He is very talented at world building, role play interactions and always makes you feel like he somehow knew your character before you did. Would highly recommend booking him for any game
