Yes, in all seriousness – and like the title says – this is what I’ve come to realize after one year of playing with Adam across two campaigns.
He’s the DM that’s going to give you the full fantasy freedom experience and creativity. It will never be the same afterwards… You like epic battles, intense and nerve wracking ones…? You love roleplay…? You want a world that makes you feel immersed and your character a complete part of it..? Well then – you should keep reading.
This is my second review for Adam, and is one I write after immersing myself deeply into the DnD world. It’s also one I write out of gratitude for all the experiences over the last year – and especially the last 6 months.
So let’s talk about how Adam is as a DM – so you know what to expect:
Adam is a DM with a vocal and interpretation range that matches that of a professional actor. No exaggeration. It feels like his NPCs have a life of their own. That and wait until you hear him mimicking the voices and accents of a player character when they miss a session and he needs to improvise to keep them in the story. On point, while respecting the player’s absence and freedom.
Adam is a writer as well. All his games are homebrew in terms of world and narrative – but not rules. The rules are the official ones from the 5e, with the occasional and on point DM discretion. Because, you know – Rule of cool.
He does an amazing job at worldbuilding. He does an amazing job in storytelling – and you know what’s even better – he does an amazing job in listening to his players’ crazy ideas, exploring them and working together to reach a satisfying integration of their own individual stories into the worlds he builds. I used to be a very battle focused player – yet through Adam first and foremost (as well as the groups I found along the way) – I began to love the roleplaying aspect of this game. He gives so much space for players to interact with each other, build relations and dynamics… at times just sitting back and enjoying his players’ flourish and making sure he is the catalyst for a fun and fantastical experience. A true catalyst of the party. It’s beautiful, when you understand the level of care he has for his players.
But well, we also want that nerve wracking battle when it’s like “oh damn, we’re going to die…!”. Well, maybe you will. I’ve escaped a few and seen comrades fall in battle – rather epically I must say. To the point of thinking – “If it happens to my character, I wanna go down like that!”.
Adam is a master at battle build up. It’s not like all the fights are going to be do or die situations, but when the climax is near you’ll feel it. When the stakes are high, you’ll be sweating – and you’ll feel so rewarded when it’s done – it’s breathtaking.
It’s also quite amazing how it feels like the dice gods just decide to help the story unfold in his games. Coincidence…? No, it’s just skillful storytelling and his own love for what he does.
Your character will be part of the world he’s in. Adam makes sure of that, because he loves the game the same as you. He’ll love to hear your stories and ideas. It feeds his creativity – Instead of wanting to follow a book or tell the story he wants he be by your side telling the story of the party, in the world he created and that your ideas helped enrich.
The amount of time Adam dedicates to his work, and his players – make him – in my humble opinion, the best DM I’ve come across so far in my DnD journey. I’ve played games with a modest 11 DMs so far, from one shots to campaigns.
Adam is the one DM I feel like I want to be playing with for as long as I play DnD.
Adam is an excellent story teller, great host, and an amazing voice actor!
If you’re a noob or a veteran this is a table you’ll not regret taking a seat at.

As someone fresh to DnD and TTRPGs in general, I joined my first ever game with Adam several months ago. He has been such a great mentor, dungeon master and friend, he’s alway there to bounce ideas for your character off and provide guidance and advice.
But I think most importantly, you can tell he truly loves being a DM, because every session we come in and it’s like being greeted by an old friend. And he makes sure you are having just as much fun as he is.
My recommendation: A DM for everyone.

After a long pause I was ready yet bervous to jump back in and Adam made it easy and welcoming. Awesome immersive DM. Feel that he’s always available with either with some sage advice concerning the game or your character or some reassurances that everything is running as its supposed to and a “do not worry just enjoy the game” attitude. Its a shame that my real life commitment obstructed my ability to participate in this campaign but anyone wanting to experience an RPG this is your guy and if on top of that, like me, you’re a crit roll fan, you’re in good hands. Thanks for everything Adam????

As the title says, if you're looking for someone who loves the game as much as you do - you've found him.
Some clear examples of this for me are the following:
- First and foremost, the time he takes with you. I can't express how valuable this kind of dedication is for me. He will help you build your character and make that character fit the world it's going to enter. He will take time to hear all your crazy character ideas. Be it about the build itself or the backstory or whatnot. He will level with you, trying to reach an agreement that leaves you happy and fits the setting. And he will go and blend your backstory into the campaign, so you can have fun unfolding it.
- He's built his own homebrew campaign, which I've been playing and is nothing short amazing. Interesting quests and side quests. Multiple threads to unfold, characters, backstory from the PCs... there's a lot of room for you to insert your own creativity into the game, or your plans - until you see all of that fail at the first roll of a dice of course!
- He's great at voice acting, and all of his characters feel unique. With very distinct personalities, looks, accents and and depth to them.
- He's also great with new players. I myself was a new player when I started with him about 2 months ago (and still am). He help me out getting into the game, and he keeps helping everyone through it.
- He also tends to roll nat 20's on boss attacks - So that's a BIG MINUS. No seriously, Adam rolled 5 straight 20's on our last boss fight. Fortunately for us, all of those were at disadvantage due to some clever party disables. Thank the dice gods!
I hope the review helps you out, if you're looking at some of his upcoming games!
Cheers! Z'

First time player and Adam was great at bringing me in to the fold. Explains everything without making it complicated and supportive of any decision you make. He brings a life to the game and makes you wish the game would just keep going! You're in safe hands when you're with Adam. He also does the best voices :)

Adam has been amazing at running our campaign. He's friendly, knowledgeable, fair and imaginative.
Together we have been working on creating a rich backstory for my character and it's a pleasure making it come to life at the table. I always look forward to visiting the world he is helping us create each week.
