Where the once shining city of Elturel stood on the Chionthar is now just a hole in the ground with smoke and the acrid smell of ozone permates the area. The citizens of Baldurs Gate watch on in horror while hell fire erupts from the ground and smoke fills the air. All while the people who ran filter from the ruins of their prevous home filter into Baldurs Gate to find refuge . Adventure into Avernus and find the reason why Elturel was up ended and relocated to the Hells, and what connection the ArchDevils have to this incident.
How to prepare
This is a beginner friendly campaign that is a ballanced experience of Combat Exploration and Role play. There are a few things needed including dice(digital or physical) and the Audio/Video components on your computer. I know people are busy so video is not required but it makes the games feel more immersive.
You don’t need to be familiar with the Dungeons and Dragons universe or The world of Faerun, but feel free to look into the Baldurs Gate games or some of the other stories.
Materials:
Dice are required but they can be digital or physical, and there is a bot in my discord that you can use as well. Everything else including character sheets and maps are provided by me through Roll20(free) and DnDBeyond(free).
Will I like this game?
If you like the heros journey while trying to fight Demons Devils and possibly an arch Devil this is the campaign for you. It is a balanced game with a good mix of Combat Roel Play and Exploration.
Guidelines/ Content Warnings and Gamplay:
This campaign does take place in the 9 hells and can deal with some imagery that could be uncomfortable. Please be aware that this game is rated Mature(17+).
Amber is an absolute joy to have as a DM. She is incredibly patient when it comes to being newer to D&D and will keep you on track with the rules, without feeling like the rules are taking over the campaign. She’s very well organized and keeps track of everything that has happened in the campaign without missing a beat! Can’t wait to get in on another campaign with her!
I’ve had the absolute honor of being a player in one of Amber’s campaigns, and I’ve been hooked on her storytelling the entire time. She has a wonderful way of describing locations and people while adding just enough challenge to keep combat engaging. She will listen to her players and truly incorporate their backstories into aspects of the campaign.
I have had the pleasure of playing along side Amber, for a handful of campaigns now. And the thing that makes her stand out among other DMs, is that is knows the rules, but she doesn’t let them rule her games. A true rule of cool DM, that won’t stifle a interesting idea or interaction because “rules as written”. But be warned, she not afraid to toss a Tarrasque at you to level the playing field if rule are abused. (ಠ_ಠ)

Mythos is an exceptional DM! We played an excellent 5E homebrew based on The Magnus Archives! The storyline was really engaging and creative and she did an amazing job capturing the feeling of the Magnus Archives while still maintaining the DnD experience!
